5 Rules to stay in shape

  1. Be quick: Keep training sessions at 15 to 20 minutes.
  2. Keep it close: The closer to home you make your gym the easier it is to get there. Spending time in traffic etc. often contributes to reasons for not attending. Having a gym at home gym solves that problemđŸ˜‰.
  3. Involve the family: Keeping fit is important. And that goes for everybody in your family. So be each other's motivation and training partners. It also makes workout sessions far more fun.
  4. Listen to your heart: Your heart rate is the perfect indicator to determine the intensity of your training session. After 15 to 20 minutes you should be out of breath and your heart must be racing (remember that each of our fitness levels differs so make sure you listen to your own body and don't be scared to challenge your personal bests regularly).
  5. Be open to change: I have noted that the training discipline I like changes from time to time. Your wife and kids will also like different types of training. When you set up your gym make sure to set up a modular environment, adaptable for everyone's needs.
